The Institute of Statistics is supervised by the Director and the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The Institute is divided into three divisions – Statistical Computing Division, Statistical Modelling Division and Survey Sampling Division. In addition, the institute has five staff for administrative support service.
INSTAT is composed of 27 faculty members of which six have their doctoral degree, four have masters degree, and 17 have bachelors degree. As the Institute promotes strong statistical background among its faculty, faculty members are encouraged to continue their graduate study in any statistics-related field with their choice of specialization. At present, two faculty members are pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Statistics and 15 for Master of Science in Statistics. Aside from instruction, faculty members are also involve in several research and extension activities inside and outside the university.
